Terms of Service

Effective 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Session, the practice platform available at session-health.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. What Session is — and isn't

Session provides software: scheduling, teleconsultation video, records, chat, billing and content tools for mental-health professionals and their clients. Session does not provide healthcare. All care, advice and treatment come from the independent professionals who use the platform. Session is not an emergency or crisis service — in a crisis in India call Tele-MANAS 14416 or 112.

2. Accounts

3. Professional responsibilities

4. Payments

Clients pay therapists directly (e.g., via UPI to the therapist's own ID). Session does not process, hold or guarantee payments, and fee disputes are between client and therapist. Payment screenshots attached to bookings are stored as part of the record.

5. Acceptable use

6. Plans and fair use

The Free plan includes the full feature set with limits (currently 5 clients and 3 AI carousels per month). Paid tiers lift these limits. AI generation is also subject to daily fair-use limits. We may adjust limits with notice in the app.

7. Content and data

You retain rights to content you create. You grant Session the licence needed to store, display and transmit it in order to run the service. Privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice for material changes.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Session is not liable for the acts or omissions of therapists or clients, for outcomes of care, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Session for the service in the 12 months before the claim (₹0 on the Free plan).

10. Termination

You may stop using Session at any time and request account deletion ([email protected]). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at the registered place of business of Session's operator.
